Team Preview: Peak Vibrations
The former OCBL squad has officially entered the One Ummah League fold, and they arrive as a serious contender. Captain Dino Pepic has done an excellent job assembling a well-balanced, battle-tested roster that will be tough to face night in and night out.
The three-guard front of Muhammad Ali, Nico Dasca, and Pepic gives this team a relentless barrage of perimeter scoring that will be central to their success. Muhammad Ali is one of the best two-way players in the league, while collegiate guard Nico Dasca is poised to turn heads with his skill and poise this season.
Nabeel Salameh operates as a lengthy, unselfish point forward whose defensive impact will be a major factor. Jordan Wigington may be one of the strongest players in the league, capable of battling bigs inside while punishing perimeter defenders with his screen-and-roll presence. Off the bench, Alen Dacic brings a veteran, old-school post game with polished footwork and scoring touch. Kareem Madkour serves as a true Swiss Army knife, giving the team flexibility to go big or small depending on matchups. Ahmed Khan adds length, athleticism, rebounding, and help-side shot blocking, while Khalid Ali provides steady guard play off the bench and the ability to change a game on both ends.
This is a deep, versatile, and physical team that should thrive this season, and one that will be both challenging and exciting to match up against.
