Team Preview: 7 Nation Army

After falling short in the finals of the Muslim Basketball League, this squad went back to the lab, retooling, reinventing, and reloading for a brighter future. With pace and spacing as the new identity, the team made the bold move to part ways with the aging point guard legend himself, Ziko Pepic, and ushered in Mark Butler, a younger, faster, and better-looking version of what Ziko once was.

At the forefront is Nasir “Batman” Christopher, a dynamic scorer with an unlimited bag and the early favorite to take home league MVP honors. Alongside him is Bruce Haidrey, the ultimate two-way running mate, capable of dropping 30 on any given night or locking in defensively to neutralize the opponent’s best player.

The X-factor is James “The Duke” Walker, a long, disruptive defender who can shut down individuals and wreck entire offensive schemes. Aeshraff Dabbas, the ageless one, returns to the starting lineup as a lethal run-and-gun finisher thriving off Mark’s outlet passes.

Off the bench, Zayd Yunus brings high-IQ defense to battle opposing bigs, while Haroon Khaliqi stretches the floor and pulls rim protectors out with deep-range shooting. Anthony Shallowhorn is the ultimate Swiss Army knife, guarding positions 1–5 and allowing seamless matchup flexibility on both ends. Rounding it out is Omar Nabi, making his long-awaited return to basketball as a deadly marksman ready to punish anyone who leaves him open in the corners.
